Adult & Family Retreats Don't just come to camp for the summer! Crossways runs year round and offers a number of programmed events in every season. These programs run for all different age groups and allow you to experience God's creation in a variety of settings. To see what retreats and events are coming up, click any of the links to below. Quilting Retreat

*FULL!* How often have you wanted to get that machine out to sew and just couldn’t bring yourself to get out all your supplies? Well, bring everything to camp and finish
that quilt that you have been wanting to finish! New quilter? Just bring your machine, supplies and your basic sewing skills and we will help you get started! Lodging in Evergreen Lodge, linens provided.
Retreat runs from 1pm on Friday until 3pm on Sunday.
Scrapbooking Retreat Have you been waiting for the opportunity to get your pictures organized and in a beautiful scrapbook? Come to a Scrapbooking retreat at Crossways and do just that! A
consultant will be available as a resource throughout the weekend. Enjoy hours of uninterrupted time, table space to lay out your pages, fantastic meals, fellowship with others who enjoy scrapbooking, and optional morning devotions in a beautiful, faith-filled setting.
Retreat runs from 7pm on Friday until 3pm on Sunday.
Crafting Retreat
Quilting Retreat When was the last time you got away? Head to camp and meet new and old friends while you work on scrapbooking, stamping, beading, cross-stitching, knitting, quilting or ANY project you’ve dreamed of starting or finishing. Relax, have fun and play; this retreat is for crafters of all kinds. Bring your own projects and supplies, and use this uninterrupted time away to let your creativity flow!
Retreat runs from 7pm on Tuesday until 3pm on Thursday.
March 2012 Men's Retreat This retreat will provide you with a comfortable forum to get away from the stresses of the daily grind and help you focus on the important spiritual aspects of your life. Gather in comfort for time spent studying the Bible and in fellowship with the guys. Register for one night or two nights to get the getaway that fits your schedule!
Pr. Jim Deckert of Zion, UCC in Dale will be helping us explore the theme of
“One Body, Many Parts: What we do and how it fits.” Throughout the weekend we
will gather together for both large group and small group discussion to talk
about how we connect Sunday to Saturday by living out our gifts and skills.
Saturday will also bring opportunity to serve through an on-site service
project, along with a series of workshops designed to help you learn a new skill
or hobby!

Health & Wellness Retreat Using the ELCA Wholeness Wheel as our guide we’ll
affirm our strengths and identify our growth areas. ‘The ELCA Wholeness Wheel
reminds us that being truly healthy and whole is about being in balance and
intentionally nurturing all aspects of health surrounded and supported by
spiritual health.’ We’ll explore the components of Social/Interpersonal,
Vocational, Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, Financial, and Intellectual
well-being.

Ecumenical Women's Retreat This retreat is an opportunity for gifted women of
diverse Christian traditions, cultures, and communities to gather and grow in
faith with one another and the Holy One in our midst. We will have both large
and small groups, workshops in the arts, body prayer and music and dance. We
will explore, engage and empower one another as we journey together learning to
live the Gospel boldly.
Faith & Fitness Retreat Join Crossways and Portico (formerly ELCA Board of Pensions) for a
weekend of fun, fitness, and faith. Large group sessions will focus on how we
balance the demands of everyday life and incorporate fitness all at the same
time. Saturday afternoon will include workshops on yoga, biking, cardio
aerobics, canoeing, Zumba, nutrition, and much more!
Intro to Camp for Families Families share in a retreat experience built to
familiarize them to camp. Some campers and parents prefer to get a taste of camp
before attending for a week. Join us this weekend for lots of camp fun,
including, campfires, Bible study, worship, volunteer projects, and exploration.
Camp staff will guide families, answer questions, and share the wonders of camp.
Families will leave refreshed and excited about their next experience at camp.
Mother Daughter Retreat Moms and daughters of all ages need time away to
renew their bonds and create new memories. Spend time together in camp
activities, Bible study, crafts, and more. Enjoy fellowship together in the
beautiful prairie of Pine Lake Camp. Lodging in Evergreen Lodge, linens
provided.
