Crossways Camping Ministries Mission Statement
Bringing people together in Christ
so that lives are changed and communities enhanced.

Pine Lake Camp is located 9 miles south of Waupaca, WI, on County K. The camp roots can be traced back to 1947 when the former United Lutheran Church purchased a large tract of property on Pine Lake and developed a camp designed to serve youth. A few historic facilities were kept including Cedar Lodge, a quaint building with a natural stone fireplace overlooking the sandy lake. The unique natural features of the camp include a long point surrounded by water, hilly back country with trails that wind through ponds and meadows, and beautiful pine and oak trees which provide color throughout the seasons of the year. A beautiful log chapel, newer dining hall, and several improved retreat and conference facilities make this site particularly attractive to year round use.

While you are here, we invite you to wander the 150 acres, to experience faith and life from a whole new perspective. Many of our facilities are new or have been updated within the past several years. You will find comfortable lodging and great food as you leave the busy-ness of the world behind to enjoy the quiet of a late autumn day or the sparkling contrast of fresh snow on deep forest green pine branches outside your window. The fireplaces become warm with conversation and friendship, and the coffee is always on!

There is a wide variety of lodging and meeting space available to suit your size group. Pine Lake Camp can accommodate a group of 8 or 80 any time of the year and then some. We will assign meeting spaces consistent with the size of your group.

Pine Lake provides food service to all groups in its dining room. Groups join together at meal time for great food and fellowship. We ask that your group assist with set-up and clean-up when food service is requested. Bedding is available when arranged at an additional fee. There are trails for hiking or skiing (equipment provided), fields for gaming, tennis and basketball seasonally. Even into the winter, Redwood Lodge is open as a large activity space for indoor recreation out of the snow or rain.
