Greetings, Crossways supporters! We have some big news to share.
Effective December 31, 2017, Jake Czarnik-Neimeyer will conclude his role as Executive Director at Crossways and transition into a part-time, semi-retired position as our Capital Campaign Director. This re-positioning of Jake and his role/responsibilities will direct the needed time, attention, and resources to the Capital Campaign launching this month.
When Jake accepted the call to leadership at Crossways, he committed to 3-5 years. Jake marks his third year with Crossways in December and the anticipated end of the Capital Campaign will mark five years of service for Jake. This change in roles will keep Jake connected to Crossways and position him to use his skills most effectively while also providing him with the work/life balance he desires at this stage in life.
Crossways has made significant strides these past three years with Jake at the helm, both financially as well as in staffing, and Crossways is in a much stronger position today, so, with the launch of the Capital Campaign, both the Board of Directors and Jake feel this is the right time to make this change.
Laurie Wilkinson, long-time supporter of Crossways, current board member, and recent interim Executive Director for the Wisconsin Council of Churches, has been named part-time Interim Executive Director of Crossways, effective January 1, 2018.
Our board and our staff are excited and confident about the direction Crossways is headed and we hope you are, too. God is guiding us every step of the way!
