Ben Koehler
Ben values bringing people together to ask meaningful questions and grow through shared conversation. His vocational calling, as both camp director and dad, centers on helping young people experience the power of God in community and in the outdoors.
About the Book:
In The Anxious Generation, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores why rates of anxiety, depression, and loneliness among young people have soared since the early 2010s. He traces the shift from a play-based to a phone-based childhood showing how the loss of independence and rise of constant connectivity have reshaped kids’ social and emotional development. Combining research with practical insight, Haidt offers a clear call to action for parents, educators, and communities to help restore freedom, play, and real-world connection to the next generation.
