Traverse
October 2nd-4th, 2026 at Pine Lake Camp, Waupaca

A Central Wisconsin adventure retreat for body, soul, and community.

What happens when you step away from the ordinary and spend a few days moving through the beautiful places right around us?

You Traverse.

This retreat is for people who want to explore Central Wisconsin, fuel their bodies, deepen their faith, and find community along the way. We’ll hike the Ice Age Trail, kayak the Chain, and explore local roads and trails by bike. Along the way, we’ll make space for devotions, vespers, good food, good conversation, and plenty of laughter.

You don’t have to be an elite athlete, or even particularly adventurous. Come ready to move, try something new, enjoy creation, and share the experience with others.

Adventure with purpose.

Our days will have a rhythm: move our bodies, nourish ourselves, slow down, and reconnect.

We’ll spend time outside experiencing God’s creation, challenge ourselves through hiking, paddling, and biking, and gather regularly for prayer and reflection. We’ll talk about where we see God along the way, and where we might need God to meet us in the places we’re headed next.

There will be miles covered and meals shared. There will be quiet moments and loud laughter. There will be sore muscles, beautiful views, meaningful conversations, and probably a few stories that get better every time they’re told.

Come as you are.

Whether you love a long trail, haven't been on a bike in years, or simply want a weekend outside with good people, there’s a place for you at Traverse.

Come explore. Come breathe. Come connect.

We’ll leave strengthened, not just in body, but in soul and community.
