What Comes Next in a Generous Life?
A thoughtful conversation about giving, planning, and possibility
Tuesday, February 24th at 6:30PM on Zoom
This webinar is an engaging, informative conversation about how generosity can fit into the bigger picture of your life and beyond.
We’ll touch on topics like tax-advantaged giving, estate planning, and other practical tools for your generosity. Salesy isn’t Marianne’s style, but curious, thoughtful conversation is. There’s no pressure to make decisions or make a gift here.
While this webinar is hosted by Crossways Camps, we know that your generous life stretches far and wide from community libraries to life-changing ministries and everything in between. The ideas and tools shared in this conversation are meant to serve all of the places you care about.
Come ready to learn, ask questions, consider possibilities, and walk away with one clear next step for what comes next in your generous life.

About our Presenter:
Sister Marianne Brock is the ELCA Foundation Gift Planner for Central and Eastern PA, as well as the Virginia and New England Synods. Previously, she served for 20 years in the dual role as the Associate Executive Director of the Lutheran Camping Corporation of Central PA and Director of Camp Nawakwa in Arendtsville, PA. She has also served in congregational settings in youth, children, and family ministries. Sister Marianne is a rostered deacon in the ELCA and a member of the Deaconess Community of the ELCA, thus the title, “Sister.” She is a 2013 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (now United Lutheran Seminary), and her undergraduate work was completed at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. Marianne has interests in PA Lutheran history, visiting new places and our National Parks, and collecting the stories of the people she encounters. She enjoys running and bicycling, occasionally dabbles in cooking, and jumps at the opportunity to visit a brewery, a Frank Lloyd Wright building, or presidential library. She does not enjoy housework, car maintenance, or caraway seeds. Marianne and her husband, The Rev. John Brock, reside in Mechanicsburg, PA. They have two adult sons, and two tremendous dogs.
